Yellow Eyes

It moves like a tiger kept in a cage, 
trying to fight the vain and the rage, 
a roar is descended, kept forbidden, 
the body has always been kept hidden, 
it's soul has no longer any gloom, 
it hides in the lonely dark caged room, 
the claws that once speared the enemies are broken, 
no longer have they any purpose, 
for it seeks the depth in the dark night sky, 
as stars twinkle, it wonders why,
it's body moves firmly and slow,
those eyes which clearly seem visable now, 
show hate and fear and troubled tears, 
it's not had a good life for years, 
as it cries out for help and bashes against the walls, 
it realizes it is over and the body gently falls, 
but it doesnt give up yet,
it wont let others forget,
it's able to stare out into the night, 
as the eyes function as the only light, 
green and yellow and oh so bright, 
but it has forgotten how to fight,
there is no time for feeling sorry, 
it creeps into a gentle sleep, 
remebering what there was left to keep, 
a roar in the night reveals it's cry
it is still wondering why..
