Unknown Adventure

It took the hand and led the way, 
between blue skies and green forests they passed by, 
the sun was not shining brightly high, 
the clouds had infected the once romantic sky, 
the look on its face showed betrayal and misery, 
as the people around gave a look of suspicion, 
they crept deeper into the darkness, 
the wind blew heavily as a hurricane, 
it was freezing cold, 
the trees sang as the scent came closer, 
of rosmary and flowers and sweet perfume, 
the soaking wet hair traced the contour of a body, 
the movents grew nearer as the birds began to sing, 
as the touch of the lips matched the others,
heat and fury rose across its face, 
silence before the storm had approached, 
eyes became clearer to the showed, 
and it began saying these foreign words, 
but the ears barely listened,
not much was to be heard deep within, 
but as the sun sank and the evening sky arose, 
its dream of being more than a man came closer to an end, 
the black abyss drenched the skin with ink, 
as hatred and fear came to a win, 
the depth of true love was there to unfold, 
this was a story to remain untold.
